Okay, so, I’ve been messing around with this “acid pump” thing, and let me tell you, it’s been a bit of a journey. I started out with pretty much zero clue what I was doing.

Getting Started
First, I had to find some kind of container, something that wouldn’t, you know, dissolve. I grabbed this old plastic jug I had lying around – seemed sturdy enough. Then, I needed to rig up some tubing. I went to the local hardware store and just kind of wandered around until I found something that looked like it would work. I’m pretty sure I got some weird looks, but whatever.
The Messy Part
Next came the actual mixing. I’m not going to go into the exact ingredients, but I will say it involved some strong stuff. I made sure to wear gloves and some old safety glasses I found in the garage. I tried to follow the instructions I’d cobbled together, but honestly, it was a lot of trial and error. I definitely spilled some, and my work area was a mess, but I managed to get a decent amount of the mixture.
Putting It Together
- I connected the tubing to the jug, making sure it was a tight fit. I used some duct tape to reinforce it – classy, I know.
- Then, I needed to get the liquid flowing. I had this little hand-pump thing that I’d used for something else, and it seemed to do the trick. It was slow going, but eventually, I started to see some results.
- I primed the pump and placed it in to liquid, starting pumping slow and steady.
- Then, I began to see results.
Fingers Crossed!
Honestly, I wasn’t sure if it was going to work. There were a few times when I thought I’d messed up completely. But after a while, I started to see the change I was looking for. It wasn’t perfect, but it was definitely progress. I had to tweak the setup a few times, adjusting the flow and checking for leaks, but I finally got it to a point where I was pretty happy with it.
Wrapping Up
So, yeah, that’s my “acid pump” adventure. It was a bit chaotic, definitely involved some questionable methods, but in the end, I managed to make it work. I wouldn’t recommend trying this at home without some serious precautions, but hey, it was a learning experience!
