Okay, so yesterday I finally got around to messing with those “acid pumps” I’d been hearing about. I’m not gonna lie, I was a little intimidated at first. I mean, “acid”? Sounds pretty intense, right?

First thing I did was, I gathered all my stuff. I’m a big believer in being prepared, you know? So, I got my pump, some tubing that I thought looked about right, a container for the, uh, “output,” and of course, the acid itself. I also grabbed some gloves and safety glasses – gotta be safe, even if it’s just a little project.
Setting It Up
Next, I connected the tubing to the pump. This was kind of a pain, to be honest. The tubing was a little stiff, and I had to really wrestle with it to get it on the pump’s nozzles. I probably spent a good 10 minutes just on that!
- Wrestled to connect the tubes to the acid pump.
- Made sure the tubes were securely attached to the pump.
After that, I put the other end of the tubing into my output container. I made sure it was secure, ’cause I definitely didn’t want any spills. Acid everywhere? No thanks.
The Moment of Truth
Then came the scary part – pouring the acid. I was super careful, used a funnel, and went really slow. I didn’t want to splash anything, especially not on myself. Once the acid was in its container, I connected that to the pump with another piece of tubing.
Finally, I flipped the switch on the pump. It whirred to life, and I could see the acid starting to move through the tubing. It was actually pretty cool to watch! I let it run for a bit, just to make sure everything was working right, and… success!
It’s actually working like what I thought. I am not saying it’s simple, but after this time, maybe I can handle it.
